2008 D’Argenzio
Cabernet Sauvignon, Aldina Vineyard
Tasting Notes
Right out of the glass, this wine presents itself as a representative of Sonoma County Cabernet with aromas of eucalyptus and cassis. Grown at an altitute of 1500 ft, well above the fog line, this Aldina Vineyard Cabernet is a rich, deep red.
Hints of anise, mint, molasses and vanilla are balanced with a well-structured tannic mouth feel and cassis berry structure. Complex yet still fruit forward, this Cabernet can be enjoyed now or will age gracefully for a decade or more.
